Software development in Dresden: SaaS, web apps and portals

Dresden is Europe's densest microelectronics location. Semiconductor fabs, Fraunhofer institutes and the technical university sit close together. We build web applications for technical teams that want their measurements and analysis out of scattered scripts.

What we build for companies in Dresden

Six things we get asked for most. Each one runs the same way for Dresden clients as for the ones down the road from us.

The market

Software development in Dresden in context

Semiconductors and microelectronics, research, mechanical engineering and software shape the Silicon Saxony region. Demanding requirements meet clients who expect technical answers and can judge them.

Who commissions us here

Data tooling is the recurring theme: capturing measurements, preparing them, making them comparable and getting results to other departments without passing along a script.

FAQ

Questions from Dresden

Can measurement data and analysis run in the browser?
Yes. Computation stays server side, the interface shows filtered and aggregated results and exports them into the formats your teams use downstream. This usually replaces scattered scripts that only their author can operate.
Does Quavon work with research institutions?
Yes. With institutes we settle data ownership, publication rights and post-project operation early. Those three points are where research software otherwise becomes unusable the moment funding ends. The repository and documentation stay with you, so the next group can continue.
Does Quavon work with clients in Dresden without an office there?
Yes. We work from Rosenheim in Bavaria, about 370 km from Dresden as the crow flies, and travel there for kick-offs, workshops and acceptance sessions. In between, collaboration runs on a weekly rhythm: a shared board, a test environment you can open at any time, and a working version to look at every Friday. Most of our clients see more of the work this way than they did with an agency in their own city.
