Yes. In Hamburg the normal case is not a blank sheet but an ERP, a warehouse system or an accounting package that has to keep running. We integrate through their APIs, file interfaces or database views and build the new interface around them. The system of record for master data stays where it is.
How do you replace a system without interrupting operations?
In steps. One process that can be isolated goes first, runs alongside the old system and is verified against real data. Once that part is stable, the next follows. A single cut-over for everything at once is rarely cheaper while operations continue, because every mistake then hits every area.
Does Quavon work with clients in Hamburg without an office there?
Yes. We work from Rosenheim in Bavaria, about 650 km from Hamburg as the crow flies, and travel there for kick-offs, workshops and acceptance sessions. In between, collaboration runs on a weekly rhythm: a shared board, a test environment you can open at any time, and a working version to look at every Friday. Most of our clients see more of the work this way than they did with an agency in their own city.
