We built her presence — the trilogy volume by volume, a cast of characters, a research archive and a podcast section, with every piece of content editable through a headless CMS.

What was the challenge?
The subject carries responsibility: persecution, the Holocaust and the memory of survivors can be neither sensational nor incidental. At the same time three novels, a podcast with more than 370,000 plays, an archive of witness interviews, reading dates and teaching material all had to come together in one place — maintainable without a developer, and without tracking services that would rule the site out for schools.
How did Quavon solve it?
We built a Next.js site with a historical editorial design: serif type, muted paper and sepia tones, archive material as the visual language. The trilogy opens up volume by volume, every character gets a profile of their own, and research and witnesses each have their own section alongside an impressions gallery and a blog. All content comes from a headless CMS; the site embeds no external services and sets no cookies — the notice is stored locally in the browser.
What did it change?

Absolut begeistert – meine Erwartungen wurden sogar übertroffen!
Ich kann Aaron und Leopold wirklich uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen! Von Anfang an hatte ich das Gefühl, mit meinen Vorstellungen und Wünschen genau verstanden zu werden. Und das Ergebnis hat meine Erwartungen tatsächlich noch einmal übertroffen.
Meine Homepage sollte für mich nicht einfach nur modern und professionell aussehen. Als Autorin und Podcasterin war mir besonders wichtig, dass sie meine Arbeit, meine Bücher, meine Zeitzeugeninterviews und meine persönliche Verbindung zur Geschichte widerspiegelt. Ich hatte viele eigene Ideen, Wünsche und Details, die mir sehr am Herzen lagen. Aaron und Leopold haben es geschafft, all das aufzugreifen und daraus eine Homepage zu entwickeln, die sich wirklich nach mir anfühlt.
Besonders beeindruckt hat mich, mit wie viel Gespür sie meine Vorstellungen umgesetzt und teilweise sogar noch besser weiterentwickelt haben. Gestaltung, Aufbau, Atmosphäre und die vielen kleinen Details passen einfach unglaublich gut zusammen. Änderungswünsche wurden schnell verstanden und genauso umgesetzt, wie ich es mir vorgestellt hatte.
Was mich außerdem wirklich beeindruckt: Die beiden sind noch sehr jung und arbeiten gleichzeitig mit einer Professionalität, Sicherheit und einem Know-how, das man sonst bei wesentlich erfahreneren Agenturen erwarten würde. Man merkt einfach, dass sie wissen, was sie tun, und gleichzeitig mit enorm viel Engagement und Herzblut dabei sind.
Auch die Zusammenarbeit war durchgehend unkompliziert, sympathisch und zuverlässig. Fragen wurden beantwortet, Wünsche ernst genommen und ich hatte nie das Gefühl, mit meinen vielen Ideen „zu viel“ zu sein. Im Gegenteil: Es wurde gemeinsam überlegt, wie man sie am besten umsetzen kann.
Ich hatte vor Beginn des Projekts eine ziemlich genaue Vorstellung davon, wie meine neue Homepage werden sollte. Das Ergebnis ist noch schöner geworden, als ich es mir vorgestellt hatte.
Für mich eine absolute 10/10 und eine ganz klare Empfehlung. Wer eine individuelle Homepage möchte, die nicht nach irgendeiner Vorlage aussieht, sondern wirklich Persönlichkeit hat, ist bei Aaron und Leopold genau richtig.
